May 22nd: 5th Grade Promotion at 9:30am/party after(see above) May 22nd: Last Day for Boys and Girls Club for school year
May 23rd : Last Day of School (half day)-let out at 11:55am, lunch will be served that day

Do you have, or know of, an incoming FIRST GRADER who is not currently attending Langston Hughes but will attend Langston next fall? Please let the office know at 785-832-5890.
You will then call the Welcome Center a 785-330-1921
to set up a time to enroll your student. They are located at:

Langston Hughes Savings Program:

Langston Hughes Elementary has established a new business partnership with KU Credit Union.
Students can open up a KU Credit Union Savings Account for as little as $5.00.
Parent or Guardian must be present to open the account, a social security number & valid ID is required at time of account opening.

School's banking days are before school on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Check out the attachment for more information on how students can save at school.
